My mother always told me to wear 'a sensible hat'. Years down the track I am grateful for her good advice and her good genes because staying out of the sun is really the best thing you can do for your skin. I was always good about keeping my face out of the sun, but failed miserably on putting sunscreen on my hands, so now my hands are the one thing that definitely gives away my age...
