Living down the coast, Christmas lends itself to being a less formal affair. I like to keep some traditional elements like the turkey and plum pudding but then I add a modern, more relaxed twist to it. Being hot and summery, seafood is always a popular favourite on the day, usually in the evening when it's a welcome relief after a big lunch. Donna Hay always has a fresh take on Christmas cooking - I love testing out her new recipes in the weeks leading up to Christmas ready for the big day! She always has some clever Christmas ideas and great ideas for table styling and food presentation. I can't wait for the Christmas Issue to come out which will be any day now!
