I could see myself being one of those Manhattan girls escaping New York for a weekend in the Hamptons. I would be very home in my Ralph Lauren and Gant weekend casuals watching a game of Polo or having a hit of tennis. I'd also be very happy just lazing by the pool sipping cocktails all afternoon! I'd love to check out the local antique shops and the quaint little restaurants but for the time being watching movies like 'Something Borrowed' and 'Something's Gotta Give' will be as close as I get to the Hamptons! But I always say no harm in dreaming!

Hey Melissah, mee tooooo, a trip to the Hamptons were actually planned for my husband and I this summer, but things didn't work out, that's the way it goes sometimes! Heard that there is a remake of the Great Gatsby being filmed in Sydney and will be interested to see how they create the Hamptons flavour
the hamptons is definitely on my list. I have not seen to much of the east coast, but I would love to at least stop and check out all the glamour. the picture of the gossip girl actresses is so cute.
I agree with Kate! I would love to come visit! It looks so inviting. Oh, to be so bored from sitting outside at my pool drinking a long island ice tea! Oh, the horror of it! ha, ha. Awesome, awesome blog!
