Inspiration boards or the humble pinboard are a great idea for displaying your favourite things or collecting ideas for a project. As a designer, I use them all the time to help convey a mood, a feeling or a colour palette to a client. I have personal scrapbooks with my favourite magazine clippings and two filing cabinets full of catalogued interior images for work. So it's only a natural progression that I ended up with a blog collating daily stories to amuse myself and hopefully entertain a few others along the way! I love this mood board in shades of blue - how simply and quickly it gives us the look and feel of the colours, materials and design intent.
