Cool Treats

With temperatures hitting 30 degrees on the weekend - the only way to cool down was with an icy treat straight out of the freezer. I am loving these homemade popsicles using exotic fruits such as lychees and pomegranate. I can't resist an old classic like raspberry but I think I'd pass on the tomato flavoured popsicle in the last image. I've never tried one so who knows I might be pleasantly surprised!

There is nothing more refreshing than a popcicle on a hot day. Those look very healthy with the big chunks of fresh fruit. It's nice to follow a blog from AU cos now I can have summer even in my Florida so-called winter.

Oh. WOW! What a visual feast this batch are Melissah, yummo! That is something I need to get into this Summer, home made iceblocks. I have the moulds, just need to get cracking with the fresh fruit and juice. How much nicer it would be to be eating a frosty treat that is actually good for us :o) xo

They look so beautiful and yummy!! It's pretty darn cold here (and rainy) in DC, so I won't be thinking about popsicles for a looong time :) Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
