Swedish Lake House

What an idyllic setting - simply perfect! A white weatherboard cottage with lake frontage, a boat house, private jetty, green lawn and amazing views, need I say more! I love the informal outdoor dining setting for casual get togethers and the open fire for chilly nights. The interior looks relaxed and inviting with a soft neutral palette, painted timber lining boards, cathedral ceilings a cosy, reading nook. What a lovely place to spend the summer sailing, fishing and swimming!

You had me at Swedish.

Apart from the obvious brand "ikea' - I am in love with all things Swedish.
It is an absolute bucket list for me to travel to sweden one day and hopefully spend an amount of time there.

Loving your photos - so peaceful.

Have a wonderful day,

I LOVE the window seat, a perfect place for reading. There is nothing more romantic than the notion of a lake house... maybe it's my years of watching Dawson's Creek or my love of the movie The Notebook ;o) xo

Love Swedish style. Thanks for dropping by my blog. The hut was inspired by scandinavian modern style, and a bit of Australian country. Look forward to following your blogs.
