Christmas Treats

I managed to get some Christmas baking in on Sunday and filled cookie jars and tins with all sorts of yummy Christmas treats. Iced star biscuits and candy cane cookies for old fashioned stocking fillers and shortbread, rum balls and white Christmas for gifts for friends and neighbours. I'll wrap them up in clear cellophane or pop them into jars and tie them up with ribbons and a home made card. I often think something homemade makes for a nicer more personalised gift as they always seem to bring the bigger smiles! For a few clever ways to wrap these gifts check out today's post on my new blog 'Country Style Chic'.

I haven't done any Christmas baking yet but I did manage to make some homemade liqueur! Love Christmas, and those blue stockings are perfect for our summery holidays :)

Oh the homemade Chrissy gifts are by far the nicest. My sister-in-law makes delectable fruit cakes and puddings... I kind of look forward to receiving one every year... hope she never decides to stop gifting them :o)
I like to make rocky road, every year. But this year, I'd also like to try a few more things. Maybe I'll get some tips for lovely ways to wrap my sweeties from your new blog, how exciting Melissah! xo

I love to receive homemade goods as gifts. They're super yummy and much more appreciated than just anything from a store. Good for you! :D
