I managed to get some Christmas baking in on Sunday and filled cookie jars and tins with all sorts of yummy Christmas treats. Iced star biscuits and candy cane cookies for old fashioned stocking fillers and shortbread, rum balls and white Christmas for gifts for friends and neighbours. I'll wrap them up in clear cellophane or pop them into jars and tie them up with ribbons and a home made card. I often think something homemade makes for a nicer more personalised gift as they always seem to bring the bigger smiles!
