Since I started blogging a year ago I have fallen in love with Scandinavian design - I think it's because a few of the key elements relate closely to Australian design. Both styles play on clean and simple designs in a palette of neutral tones. Interestingly, Donna Hay seems to have picked up on this trend and this year there's a collection of gorgeous Christmas decorations available from the Donna Hay shop that have a distinctly 'Scandi' feel to them. It's amazing to see trends, ideas and fashion cross the globe and influence other cultures.
