In my fashion days I spent five years working for Calvin Klein, I have never met the man, himself but I have great respect for his design aesthetic. I love his clean lines, minimal approach and his restrained colour palettes. In my CK days I wore his beautifully tailored suits to work with my Calvin Klein fragrance - my watch, handbag and underwear all bore the same branding! When he was at the helm of the fashion house anything he touched turned to gold. Although this lovely escape doesn't immediately remind me of his style I can see elements that are distinctly his - the pared back colours, the minimal furnishings and simplicity of the reflective pond. It certainly looks like the perfect place to escape the craziness of the New York fashion scene.
