Song Saa, Private Island, Cambodia

 Island Dreaming

I have spent quite a bit of time travelling through Asia but never made to Cambodia. Generally considered one of the less touristy and more adventurous Asian countries to travel to, it's a popular place for backpackers and for those who like to get off the beaten track. Now that my backpacking days are over there is now a new reason to go - this luxury, eco friendly resort on the private island of Song Saa. Their aim is tread lightly and create as little impact on the natural beauty of their surroundings as possible. Great design, locally sourced natural materials, pristine white sand, coral reefs and aquamarine coloured waters combine to make this a destination hot spot.

WOW! I definitely did not envisage that place when I think of Cambodia. That looks blissful, I would be very happy to try that place out too xo

I don't typically think of Cambodia as a resort destination, but clearly I am wrong! I love these photos. Are those round beds by Caluco furniture? Love them!
