Navy & White Chic - Get The Look

Re-create these looks

Nautical Chic

I have always found design books and magazines a great inspiration for my work and now I get a daily dose of inspiration from checking out my favourite blogs each morning. I collect tear sheets from mags and images from blogs and save them for future projects. When creating a decor scheme and a colour palette I always try to get a feel for what style a client is after by pulling out a few pics to chat about and get the ball rolling. That way it's easy to breakdown the look and pull out the main design elements for the project. In this cases it's a classic palette of navy and white with some rustic, 'beachy' elements, plenty of textured details, bold prints and some stylish finishing touches.

Nautical Appeal

The same design principles work for fashion looks -
here I'm loving bold, navy and white details -
perfect for lunch on the patio or a friend's boat!
