Not only did moving to the coast mean an almost entirely new wardrobe it also meant new furniture, new accessories and new homewares that fitted into our new coastal beach shack. Suddenly French antiques, Persian rugs and crystal chandeliers were being replaced by cane chairs, hammocks, deck chairs and sisal matting. It was a bit sad to let all that old stuff go but a perfect excuse to go shopping for new things and create an entirely new look - a decorator's dream!
