Was
the real estate advertisement that prompted this Danish city dweller to
jump in her car and check out this beach cottage set amongst the sand
dunes. Built in 1920 with a magnificent view of the sea and
the beach - it features large wooden windows, lots of character and 'soul'. It posesses many of my favourite elements like bead board panelling, an abundance of white paint, high
ceilings, lots of natural light and lime washed floorboards. There are
even a couple of my beloved Adirondack chairs!

This is EXACTLY what I grew up with, so glad you like it, brings back memories seeing these images of the Black summerhouse in the open "Klitter" / Dunes, the wide "Strand" / Beach and the jar full of "Fyrfadslys" / Votives.... I can almost smell the salty air :)
