The Pavillion Beach House

This simple little coastal home, situated on a grassy knoll overlooking the sea
has been cleverly designed to maximize it’s beautiful location.

Argentinian architect Martin Gomez, specializes in beach houses in Uruguay and Argentina. He is obsessed with integrating his homes with their surrounding landscapes. This simple, single-story coastal house in Punta del Este, gets it just right. The wood pavilion overlooks the ocean and captures breezes via sliding doors. When the doors are open, the space is almost entirely open to the outdoors. The living area is furnished with mid century classics whereas the bedroom takes on a rustic, organic feel with it's reclaimed timber bedside tables.

I love the large glass sliding doors and windows and the natural look wood finished interiors
 … a perfect weekender.
