Swedish Summer Home

An eclectic mix creates a cost lakeside cottage.

This lovely summer cottage in Ekerö, a group of islands not far from Stockholm, belongs to Asa Myrberg. Asa is the person behind decor blog Mycasa, she certainly has a flair for interior design. I love the dining area with a table built of 1700s floor planks with a welded steel frame. Mix and match chairs are from Eames, Thonet, Artwood and Sia. Her eclectic style is held together through a controlled palette of tranquil neutrals. White, soft grey, indigo blue and fresh green combine in harmony with warm timber tones and distressed furniture to create a relaxed cottage feel.
