A Hamptons style makeover...

This gracious, renovated six bedroom Queenslander represents the culmination of a long-held dream for one family. The two-level circa-1920s property was bought by Kylie and Brett while they were still living in a rented flat in Hong Kong.“It had a good feel, the right number of bedrooms, a great verandah, tennis court, pool and enough grounds without being too much,” says Kylie. “And it was in good condition, so it was just a matter of tweaking a few things to make it exactly what we wanted.” After a redesign by Derek Trebilcock of Trebilcock & Associates Architects, the house is now the perfect Hamptons-style home for the couple and their four children. It's fresh, classic and light-filled. I love the marble counter tops in combination with the rustic, wooden floors hand-glazed tiles.
